(Which is actually an amazing thing for Ms Kontrol to ever admit.) “Good, I win,” he says, timidly. “I was sure that you would abandon me, and now you’ve proved right.”
It is interesting in watching an TV show’s entire season so quickly. There are many loose ends that a movie would have to somehow resolve. But a show such as this can leave them open because: 1. over the course of weeks and months viewers forget about them and 2. they can then be picked up later.
The sense of the 4 (sometimes 5) core gals’ friendship did not feel so strong this season, as each of them have spun out in their crazy plots. And Lanette is no longer a housewife, desperate or otherwise. Perhaps she is now the Disparate Housewife?
